Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Paramedical Technology (BPMT)
1. BPMT courses require the student to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 level.
2. The aspiring candidate must have passed 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
3. Apart from this, students must qualify for the respective entrances conducted for BPMT courses in order to proceed with further admission processes.
4. According to some institutes, a candidate’s age should not be less than 27 years and not more than 50 years.
5. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 40% to 60% in the undergraduate degree.
Admission Process
1. Admissions to the course in different colleges are generally Merit-Based i.e., admissions are decided upon the merit of the candidate in the entrances conducted for the specified course.
2. Very few colleges also grant admission on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at the 10+2 level.
3. Students can gain admission to BPMT in India on the basis of entrance exams such as MHT CET, NEET, KEAM, AP EAMCET, etc.
4. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.

Their main responsibility is to put the gowns and gloves on the surgeon and surgical assistants, Scrub Surgical Technologists set up a sterile operating room environment, and make sure the patient has the best possible observation throughout the surgery. |
